How to operate the chamber furnace correctly?

Correct operation of the Chamber Furnace is the key to ensure the smooth progress of the experiment or production process and to ensure the safety of the equipment. The following is a series of detailed operating steps for your reference:
1. Preparation
Environmental inspection:
Ensure that the chamber furnace is placed in a stable, well-ventilated environment without flammable items.
Check whether the indoor temperature meets the equipment requirements, which should usually be within the temperature range specified by the equipment.
Equipment inspection:
Check whether the furnace is clean and free of debris.
Check whether the electrical components such as power cords, plugs, switches are intact, without damage, aging or looseness.
Check whether the temperature control instrument displays normally and whether the set value is accurate.
Safety protection:
Wear high-temperature resistant gloves, goggles and other protective equipment to prevent scalds or burns.
Ensure that there are enough fire-fighting equipment in the operating area to deal with emergencies.
2. Startup and preheating
Connect the power supply:
Insert the power plug of the chamber furnace into a power socket that meets the requirements.
Turn on the power switch, and the temperature control instrument should display the current furnace temperature.
Set temperature:
Set the target temperature on the temperature control instrument according to the experimental or production requirements.
Be careful not to exceed the rated temperature range of the box furnace.
Preheating:
Start the heating function and let the box furnace start preheating.
The preheating time depends on the size of the furnace, the set temperature and other factors. It usually takes some time to reach a stable state.
3. Loading samples
Prepare samples:
Place the samples that need to be heated in a high-temperature resistant container and ensure that the container can withstand the high temperature in the furnace.
Avoid placing flammable and explosive items in the furnace.
Loading samples:
Open the furnace door and quickly and safely place the sample in the designated position in the furnace.
Close the furnace door and ensure that the furnace door is well sealed.
4. Heating process
Monitoring temperature:
During the heating process, pay close attention to the display of the temperature control instrument to ensure that the temperature in the furnace is stable within the set range.
If abnormal temperature fluctuations are found, check and adjust the heating power or reset the temperature in time.
Avoid frequent operations:
During the heating process, try to avoid opening the furnace door frequently to avoid affecting the temperature stability in the furnace.
5. End the operation
Turn off the heating:
When the heating process is over, the heating function should be turned off in time to let the temperature in the furnace drop naturally.
Take out the sample:
Wait until the temperature in the furnace drops to a safe range (usually below 100°C) before opening the furnace door to take out the sample.
Use appropriate tools (such as crucible tongs) to carefully take out the sample to avoid scalding or burning.
Turn off the power:
After taking out the sample, turn off the power switch of the box furnace and unplug the power plug.
6. Maintenance and care
Regular cleaning:
Regularly clean the residue and impurities in the furnace to keep the furnace clean and tidy.
When cleaning, turn off the power and wait for the temperature in the furnace to drop completely.
Check electrical components:
Regularly check whether electrical components such as power cords, plugs, switches, etc. are intact. If they are damaged or aged, they should be replaced in time.
Calibrate the temperature sensor:
Regularly calibrate the temperature sensor in the furnace to ensure the accuracy of the temperature display.
Professional training:
Provide professional training for operators to enable them to master the correct operating methods and maintenance knowledge.
